SÃONE Guesthouse is a hidden sanctuary in a green valley next to the vibrant surf town of Ericeira, home to everything lifestyle, sports, mental balance and intellectual creativity. It's within walking distance of two of the region's most beautiful beaches and surf spots, Foz do Lisandro and São Julião. The interior design is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of “Wabi-Sabi”, which aims to appreciate the imperfect beauty of nature. The coworking space responds to our own desire for greenery and light, and is a popular venue for remote workers and basically anyone who enjoys the little in-between moments of ‘being’ as much as 'doing'.

SÃONE Guesthouse is different. Somehow a bit freer and greener. Neither a classic guesthouse, nor a hostel, nor just a coworking location. We put a great emphasis on individuality and privacy, combined with a penchant for natural design and community. We don't have an agenda, just a lot of options. Basically everything you need for your well-being: quality beds for a comfortable sleep, plenty of space for creativity and mental health, a rich and yummy breakfast, fast internet throughout the house, social events and a wide range of activities. Each room has been designed with love and simple luxuries for different budgets.

The tropical yet functional design is geared towards productivity and creativity: Power outlets always within reach, delicious coffee, tea and lunch options, comfortable chairs, and inspiring people, talks and atmosphere. And if you need to cool off, just sprint to the nearby ocean or take a quick dip in the pool. At our evening community events, coffee turns to wine and the soundbox is at hand - so be sure to bring your favourite tunes!

Our story begins with a Raspberry Pi, a [block]chain of fortunate circumstances, and a solo traveler's search for a place to combine remote work with surfing, slow living, and intellectual creativity. SÃONE is an affair of the heart, born from a personal desire and an unfulfilled need. It was realised with a lot of handwork, a passion for creating something new and unique, and attention to detail. But the secret ingredient are the people who fill the place with life and joy. We don't just invite you to be our guest, but to become part of our home and story.
